Can registry cleaner and can it do more harm than good if you use it alot?
Posted under Registry Cleaner by adminI use Regcure to clean my registry, I reformmated my computer because the error message was "DETAIL-INCORRECT FUNCTION" I thought that error could be registry cleaner over used.
If using registry cleaner alot can it do more harm than good is true than how often should I use it?

The "DETAIL-INCORRECT FUNCTION" error is not a result of a deleted registry entry, it is an error that occurs due to a corrupt profile loading, most common in Windows XP SP3.
No, frequent registry cleaning does not do your system harm, it only server as a waste of time. The interval during which you should do a registry cleaning depends solely on your usage.
I would advice cleaning your registry after every 10 installs / uninstalls that you do, or once in every 15 days.
Yes, Regcure is quite a good cleaner, its the best for most new users as it never deletes an important registry entry at all. I would also recommend trying CCleaner, it is an all purpose cleaner.
Happy computing….
