   There are so many registry cleaners out there all of them are junk and not worth a penny. They don’t really do anything useful. You could try running combofix which is a very good program you can get it at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix also there is malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/ AVG is a good antivirus and I’ve not used much of superantispyware but I hear it’s pretty good.    As far as registry cleaners go, some like them and some don’t. There’s quite a few malicious ones out there so be careful.

   Don’t expect them to speed you up, but they’re great for getting rid of corrupted/junk files and browsing history.

   Registry cleaners don’t have any noticeably impact on performance and they are highly unlikely to fix errors with your computer. At best they delete a few out of millions of registry keys so anyone with any technical knowledge will know what little effect they have.
   They often delete vital registry keys that the system or other programs need and cause them to stop working so it’s just not worth the risk.
   As for other software you might need, you could get a firewall, but your computer probably already has Windows Firewall, and if you’re using wireless, then your router should have a built in firewall.

    No AVG & SuperAntispyware are adequate,installing extra anti-spyware apps will only slow down your computer .Ccleaner is the best free safe effective privacy file cleaner & i would not recommend any commercial registry cleaners as they do not improve speed and more than often delete important system files and can corrupt the registry.A good free defrag program is the best way to speed up your computer such as Defraggler also by the makers of the excellent Ccleaner
