There are two decent ones you can find on the net and possibly at downloads.com. One is CCleaner and the other is Eusing. Both work well. If you get a registration box, simply check the skip button.

try something called "ccleaner", which is short for "crap cleaner". it might help

If you need a really good one, you can’t have it free I’m afraid. No free product offers all the features of a fully licensed one that can backup your registry before making changes, has restore facility, defragment it and optimize it.
