is there any place on the net that I can truly download a free deep registry cleaner, not just a free scan?
Posted under Registry Cleaner by adminI have a corrupt registry – have lost use of my printer – get the dreaded "blue" screen or total "whiteout." Some dll errors, etc.I can’t seem to find a truly free deep registry cleaner just the scan. There are some "cleaners’ available, but they only do a very shallow clean. I have windows ME operating system!
If you’ve gone that far, it’d be better to reinstall the O/S completely instead of trying to "patch" fix the registry.
Back up all the programs and data files, then do the "nuke it from orbit" reinstall.
Registry cleaners do not work well. Your problem stems probably from a much deeper issue, like a corrupt or missing DLL. You may even have a bad sector on the hard drive. The best thing you can do is to reinstall your operating system. If you don’t have a disc put Linux on it. Try Xubuntu, it will run on anything and be fast.
