Registry Cleaner
The following is my experience of utilizing registry cleaners. I have a computer that We bought 7 years ago. Now wait a minute! Before you think this particular computer is really too old and not worth talking about, please hear me out for two reasons: Firstly, the pc with its age and associated issues provided me with the best chance in order to test the most used registry cleaner available on the market that my research uncovered. Secondly, the pc, even though old was a high spec computer at the time I bought it and it’s still very adequate for my family’s needs and is a useful second computer in the house.
Although we had problems with the computer we could not throw it away because we have a lot of things on it. The problems was that the computer was running slow and freezing and crashing in the middle of important work and needed to be restart it all the time to get it working. We thought we were having these problems because of its age. It was very frustrating
I know what you are thinking: “why don’t you get a new one and transfer the data on to it and throw away this computer”? Yes I know, but apart from the emotional attachment we have to this computer for various reasons, in my family throwing out something like that is not that simple so please reserve your judgement.
Anyway, eventually my son and I took the computer to a local computer technician to see if he can fix it and stop it from running slow, stop the freezing and crashing and generally make the computer perform better. We were even ready to replace any hardware components that might be needed to make the computer work better so long as our data on the system is preserved.
We left the computer with him for 4 days and went back to collect it. When we got home we were very disappointed because he had not been able to fix the computer. For the $120 that we paid him all he did was to delete some files unauthorised to try and make the computer work faster. It was a complete waste of time.
We looked on the internet for solutions and that was when we discovered registry cleaners as a possible solution to our computer problems. I also realised that there are so many brands of registry cleaners on the market. I selected seven of them and evaluated them. It was clear from the evaluation that some registry cleaners work better than others.
I found that most of the registry cleaners more or less do the same job, except some work better than others. So I focused on a registry cleaner that is popular with people, thinking that the popular a registry cleaner the better it might be because people are buying it. On this basis I chose Regcure registry cleaner because it has over 60 million downloads – bigger than any of the other registry cleaners I looked at and so I bought it.
First I scanned the computer with the free scan feature that Regcure offers. The scan produced in excess of 2000 errors and went ahead and deleted few of the errors from my computer. For the rest to be removed I paid for the full version. After payment a second scan was done and this time all the errors were removed. From this experience I can say registry cleaners work. My computer now runs like new.

Registry Repair

With frequent use, personal computers tend to have problems performing certain operations. Every time I experience this, I make sure that I clean my PC registry as soon as possible. The PC registry is a basic set of operating instructions that tell the computer system how to operate.
The registry stores information it might need to retrieve an application or change a system setting. It contains user’s profiles, applications installed on the computer and the types of documents they create, what hardware exists on the system, and the ports being used.
The Registry can be easily corrupted with errors. It may happen when you uninstall or add a program. There are also cases when you don’t have to do anything at all for it to go bad. You need a Registry Cleaner when this happens. A Registry Cleaner removes all the garbage left behind from all the programs that you have installed and uninstalled in your computer over the years.
Registry cleaning programs are designed to remove all the garbage left behind from all the programs that you have installed and uninstalled in your computer over the years. A cleaning program usually checks your registry and locates any items that can be removed safely. You can then select items individually for removal or choose to remove all the items the scanner finds.
You can try removing these items manually but it is not to be recommended. First of all, it’s difficult to determine which items correspond to which applications, and by attempting to remove items yourself, you might accidentally remove a valid registry item, which can lead to software crashes and errors.
Unfortunately, some so-called registry cleaner programs install on your machine automatically from a Trojan-type infection. The registry cleaner promises to remove this terrible infection if you buy then run it. Many times, these registry cleaners pad their numbers by displaying the 200+ cookies you have stored on your computer.
Virus writers make money out of this scam. They encourage individuals to signup then send visitors to a special link that asks them to purchase something. They then receive a commission when a purchase is completed.
It is recommended that you do a complete clean up of your registry once a month. The cleaning program you’ve installed can scan check your registry automatically. To avoid systems crashes on your PC, invest in a reliable registry repair software to clean the registry of your PC.

Actually, a computer registry is nothing more than a set of files that stores all the computer essentials such as the operating system or OS, the control panel, your user profile and preferences and the like.
Now how do you know that it’s time for some windows xp registry cleaning? Obviously you must be using Windows XP, but aside from that you must observe your PC for the presence of any of the following: slow boot ups, failure to boot up, unstable system, and in worse cases, the blue screen of death.
It’s quite easy to do this if you have the right skills and the right knowledge. A certain software program, Registry Editor or Regedit, which comes with your Windows XP, can help you do it manually. However, you should never venture into this kind of thing when you don’t have the right skills to begin with, else you may only worsen the state of your computer. If your system gets damaged following a careless registry cleaning, you will have to reinstall Windows XP again, and certainly, you wouldn’t wish to go through all this trouble.
It can be safely said that a Windows XP system repair may spell either your success or your doom, depending on how you do it.
